She Leads America/UK Summit
Some 50 leading Christian women from the U.S. and the U.K. will join forces in London in June to seek faith-based solutions to attacks on biblical values in their countries and globally. The She Leads America/UK Summit will be held at Windsor Castle.
“The UK Summit offers an opportunity for strategic thinking and collaboration to approach the issues facing our societies from a biblical and prayerful perspective,” according to the Standard Newswire, a news service for public policy groups, government organizations, watchdog groups and others.
Noting the “unprecedented simultaneous attack on Christian values,” She Leads America founder and executive director Liz Doyle explained, “We are eager to meet our sisters across the Atlantic to learn about the unique challenges in Britain and how they are addressing the global crisis we all find ourselves in.”
Seeking Faith-Based Answers for Faith-based Attacks
Participants, who are attending the summit by invitation, will include nationally recognized Christian women in various fields. “…the landmark gathering will feature discussions on the challenges confronting both countries as biblical values are threatened, and will explore faith-based solutions to address those challenges,” the Standard Newswire said.
“Only with the combined efforts of distinguished and leading voices will we be able to cut through the challenges we face on either side of the pond,” noted Kathleen Cooke, co-founder of Cooke Media Group in Los Angeles. “Leadership matters and leaders supporting leaders turn the dial,” she added.
What Is “She Leads”?
She Leads is an organization of women of various ethnicities, backgrounds, Christian denominations and perspectives. It includes women in business, education, government, community outreach, Christian ministry, law, the military, non-profit organizations, media and entertainment, family life and welfare, among others.
“As women connect in celebration of what God is accomplishing through our lives, collaboration is ignited and change is accelerated to bring faith-based solutions to modern-day challenges,” Doyle said. “We provide a framework to link interdisciplinary perspectives, centered in the Bible. We share resources: ideas, people, strategic thinking….”
The She Leads America organization explained that it “stands as a testament to the power of faith-based community and support, offering a safe environment for the exchange of ideas and the building of trust among faith-focused, independent thinkers who are networked through deep relationships in Christ.”
