Today is Day 8 of my 31 Days of Self-Love posts to celebrate Self-Love Month with suggestions for jump-starting your own self-love and joining The Self-Love Movement™.
It’s so easy to put ourselves down, I talked about in my post Are You a Bully—to Yourself? Making mistakes can bring out negative self-talk, which is often on autopilot. Break that habit and replace it with a habit of kind, gentle self-talk—all day long!
* ”I’m trying my best and hat’s good enough.”
*“I’m a wonderful person with a good heart.”
*“I’m perfectly capable of getting this job done.”
*“I can do it! I can do it!”
And extend that habit to other people. Reassure the people around you when you see one struggling with fear of self-doubt. This will make you feel good too! Reassuring words are a goo way to say, “I love me!”
