Dear Friend,
Freedom from what is unwanted by you begins with awakening to what is unseen within you. So . . .
. . . If you’re tired of asking yourself “What came over me?”, after the damage has been done, there is an answer. It begins with understanding that in life you can never act more clearly in any given moment of challenge than what you understand about it before it begins.
And since Higher Studies reveal that whatever your situation may be at the moment is one and the same as your present level of self-understanding, the more you come to know about your own un-investigated inner-workings, the more clearly will you be able to exercise the missing self control.
You can begin to overcome the self that overcomes you by studying closely the unconscious psychological sequence that is revealed below. When you can see how one part of yourself manages to take control of the rest of you, that’s the beginning of the end of its self domination.
1. Undetected thought unconsciously calls up some past security or pleasure.
2. The sense of pleasure is identified with by another thought, and “self” appears.
3. This thought “self” fears losing its newly found security, creating anxiety in it.
4. Sudden anxiety gives rise to confusion.
5. Spreading confusion causes the feeling of losing “yourself”.
6. Feeling as though you’re losing “yourself” creates fear.
7. Fearing the loss of itself, this thought “self” then struggles to reinvest itself in the rescuing idea found in the pleasure of the original unconscious thought; the same one responsible for creating the circle of self which has overcome you.
Remember: Self-Awakening is always the solution, because self-defeating behavior can continue only for as long as you remain asleep to yourself within yourself.
