If only I could remember you
…What couldn’t I do?
After all…from where come the power,
The authority
Granting any illusion
The right to restrain and punish us?
Its appeal and ability to attract
And imprison the unwary…
Is only as great as is
The absence of Your Presence within us.
Just as you can’t deceive a butterfly
Into a dance with a wooden buttercup,
Neither can the God-Filled heart
Be fooled into acting against itself or any other.
If only I could remember you
…What couldn’t I do?
