Barry, I think Senator’s staff handled this properly. He played by the rules. He is not under an obligation to give any of us a detailed account of who he was talking to. I can’t imagine that they would just have locked him in a room for an hour speaking with no one. The PURPOSE of the cone of silence was to make sure Sen. McCain did not hear the questions asked or Sen. Obama’s responses. The Campaign played by the rules and that should settle it. Sen. McCain carried the night at Saddleback.
