I literally did see a rainbow over here in Ireland about the time an important case was being argued before the Supreme Court of Florida.  I did not find any leprechauns with or without pot of gold. However, here’s the prize as reported by Americans United’s Communications Department in a press release:

 

Americans United for Separation of Church and State hailed today’s ruling by the Florida Supreme Court removing two ballot amendments that would have erased religious freedom safeguards and harmed public schools in the state.

 

These amendments were deliberately worded in a misleading fashion and given titles to make them sound innocuous. The Florida high court saw through the ruse. This is a huge victory for a disciplined approach to constitutional change and a repudiation of the disingenuous conduct of Religious Right operatives appointed by former Florida governor Jeb Bush.
