In a terrifying and shocking incident, Tennessee Pastor Greg Locke of Global Vision Bible Church in Mount Juliet has publicly praised God for protecting his family after a “madman” allegedly unleashed a hail of bullets on his home late Tuesday night, September 3rd. The attack left the pastor and his family shaken but unharmed, a fact for which Locke is profoundly grateful.

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies responded to the scene at Locke’s residence around 10:30 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered 30 to 40 shell casings scattered around the house, the garage, and a vehicle. Miraculously, no injuries were reported, and authorities are still investigating the incident. At this time, no arrests have been made.

Locke, who shared the horrifying experience on social media, revealed that the shooting occurred mere moments before he and his family returned home. In a statement on Instagram, Locke described the events in vivid detail, including sharing photographs of the crime scene.

“It’s 2:00 a.m., and for the last 3 hours, our home has been a full-blown crime scene,” Locke wrote. “According to the security cam footage, we pulled into our driveway exactly ONE MINUTE after a madman unloaded an entire magazine of bullets from an automatic weapon into our house, garage, and my truck.”

The security footage, which Locke described as “truly horrific,” captured the chilling sounds of the gunfire. In his post, Locke expressed his deep concern for the safety of his children, noting that only one of his kids was home at the time of the shooting. Thankfully, his child was not in the same area of the house where the bullets struck. However, the harrowing reality of the situation became even more apparent when Locke revealed that one of the bullets had pierced the headboard of his youngest daughter’s bed, lodging in her pillow.

Following the incident, Locke and his family were escorted to a hotel by security, where they sought refuge for the night. In his statement, Locke cited Psalm 91, a passage that speaks of God’s protection, as he reflected on the miraculous survival of his family’s security escorted to a hotel tonight,” Locke shared. “We have no further details. The only detail that matters is that Psalm 91 is true, and GOD PROTECTED US IN UNIMAGINABLE AND SUPERNATURAL WAYS. Please pray for the Locke family tonight.”
