(Since The Moon is often associated with the conditions of one’s childhood, here’s Part Two of a twelve-part series about the Moon in your birth chart — your emotional comfort zone — written from both the perspective of a standard astrological interpretation and a children’s story from the perspective of each Moon Sign. MOON IN GEMINI
People with Moon in Gemini have just as many feelings as anyone else, but tend to prefer intellectualizing them in an attempt to make them go away. Thus, the people they care about them the most have an unfortunate tendency to go away. You often try to think your way around emotional issues, which is usually about as effective as you’d think it is. In many ways, you are more comfortable with a little of everything rather than a lot of something specific. Rather than trying to find someone to hook up with at the party and go home, you’re most likely comfortable staying until it shuts down, carrying the hors d’oeuvre tray around to everyone left behind.
You can more than hold up your end in a debate, and often welcome the opportunity to defend your position. That’s because you have learned that “defending your position” is not the same as “discussing your feelings,” and is generally a lot safer. Also, you tend to be better at words than actions. Nonetheless, you are a sprightly companion, are well-liked by others, and when you put your mind to it you can talk your way out of almost any sticky situation. People with Moon in Gemini often get bored quickly with their playthings… but play well with them before they reach that point.
THE MOON IN GEMINI STORY
“And there she is NOW!” Baby Bear shouted as he pointed at Goldilocks hiding in the corner.
“Hey guys, glad you could make it!” Goldilocks said as she smiled wide and opened her arms in greeting. “I thought you should know I got rid of that porridge for you. I think it was a little off. Mama Bear… you look fantastic! Have you lost weight recently? And Papa Bear… hey, how you doing? I haven’t seen you since that time at the bar when you were with Mrs. Kodiak!”
“What were you doing with that Kodiak slut?” Mama Bear shouted angrily at Papa Bear. A fierce argument broke out between the two of them, and Baby Bear ran to his room and cried.
By the time the dust had settled, Goldilocks was long gone.
