(This is part of the Mars in Aries series I will be running throughout the rest of this year. Mars is going to spend a ridiculously long time in Aries, and the more prepared you are for it, the better. CLICK HERE for the introduction to this series.)
THIS WEEK: Mars moves from 4 degrees to 7 and a half degrees Aries. It makes two major aspects of note to other planets. Venus in Gemini sextile Mars in Aries, although no longer exact, will still be in effect. This is excellent news for your urge to socialize and find a mate. Maintaining the discipline required for social distancing, wearing masks, et cetera? Not so much.
(Wondering what the next few months hold in store for you? Write me with your date, time, and place of birth — and I’ll send you a free sneak preview!)
On Wednesday, Mercury square Mars is exact. Under the best of circumstances this could make for unwise verbal or written outbursts. Given that Mercury is still retrograde? Make sure you phrase your complaints very carefully. Then avoid the urge to wrap them around a brick and throw them through someone’s window. Odds are, you may pick the wrong person’s window. And even if it’s the right window… couldn’t you have just sent a text message or something?
WHO WINS/WHO LOSES?: Any major planets or placements in your birth chart between 0 and 12 degrees of the Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius) will feel a distinct boost. Your Air Sign placements (Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius) will receive a less obvious (but still real) shot of energy — although for Libra, it may not be that comfortable. Any major birth chart placements in or around those degrees of Cancer or Capricorn? They will be feeling some agitation.
MOON ASPECTS: Most of Monday will feature a Moon-Mars sextile. Moon in Aquarius has a lot of good ideas but often doesn’t put them into action. This aspect will help some of Moon in Aquarius’ lofty goals appear in more practical form.
Saturday brings the Moon-Mars conjunction in Aries. Take every precaution I’ve written about so far in this entry and double it.
WHY THIS WEEK IS IMPORTANT: Fortunately, by November, Mars will have only retrograded back 2 about 15 and a half degrees Aries, so most of the previously mentioned placements won’t have any difficult Mars issues to face. But keep in mind that every week can be important in some ways to some people — including that guy coming at you with a car.
