This Wednesday is the first exact hit of Saturn square Uranus. This aspect is making the entire year one big mess. I won’t go into great detail hear about the effect this will have on the world in general and on many of you specifically. I’ve already covered that elsewhere, and come to think of it, so did William Butler Yeats:
“Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world”
Yeesh. Sounds kind of awful, doesn’t it?
Although that first hit on Wednesday is exact, big long transits like this rarely manifest themselves most obviously on the day that they are exact. Instead, the big events generated by a transit like this are usually triggered by smaller transits. The other two exact hits are in June and December of this year — but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. In this blog entry I will be covering the major transits that will trigger Saturn square Uranus, for better or worse, between now and June. These could lead to world-changing events, and if you have any placements in about the 3 to 11 degree range of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius? You better pay attention personally as well. March 22, 2021: Mars in Gemini trine Saturn, semi-sextile Uranus
(+/- 10 days) This is a good time to take the aggressive and assertive energy of mars and put it into something relatively constructive. Don’t worry so much about the semi-sextile. No one ever died from a semi-sextile.
March 30, 2021: Sun and Venus in Aries sextile Saturn, semi-sextile Uranus
(+/- 6 days) This should prove to be a genuinely pleasant (if somewhat lightweight) transit. It should give you some opportunities to make nice with people you may have stopped on lately, or who may have stomped on you.
April 30, 2021: Sun in Taurus conjunct Uranus, square Saturn
(+/- 6 days) A lot of people’s egos will be going off the rails around this time. Try not to be one of those people.
May 10, 2021: Mercury in Gemini trine Saturn, semi-sextile Uranus
(+/- 6 days) Constructive thoughts and ideas have a better chance of getting you some practical results.
May 11, 2021: Mars in Cancer sextile Uranus, quincunx Saturn
(+/- 10 days) You may have a lot of unusual or unexpected energy, but it could be directed in weird or unprofitable directions. Think that new initiative through before you launch it.
May 18, 2021: Venus in Gemini trine Saturn, semi-sextile Uranus
(+/- 6 days) Venus is all loving and affectionate, but it needs back up sometimes to get results. The aspect from Saturn I can make love, in all its many forms, a little more solid and practical.
