As many of you have probably heard, when the Moon is “Void of Course,” it’s a bad time to start a new project. Or finish an old one. Or… well, let’s face it, a Void of Course Moon is just a good excuse to slack off. In that spirit, and as a writer and an astrologer, I now present this, which is really not connected to writing (in the usual sense) or astrology (in any sense, really).
My goal here is to establish that the Void of Course Moon can be incredibly productive if you focus inward, engage in “lateral thinking,” or (if you’re like me) you are a prankster at heart who really shouldn’t go too long unsupervised.
In that spirit, here is my photo essay, “Void, Of Course.” I hope you enjoy it. And if you don’t, well, it was done during a Void of Course Moon, so what did you expect?

Always use caution when accepting an offer that seems to be too good to be true… especially when the Moon is Void of Course.
Whenever the Moon is Void Of Course, perhaps especially when it’s in a Water Sign, one must be cautious to not over-react to real or perceived threats. Take caution in your relations with others, but don’t blow things out of proportion.
There is often a sense of restlessness or dissatisfaction that occurs during a Void Of Course Moon, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you need change, or that you will choose the kind of “change” that is best with you. Avoid starting on new projects or major personal makeovers.
Sure, there might be an issue with your relationship… but with the Moon Void Of Course, can you really be sure that THE OTHER GUY is the one who isn’t being “fully present”?
Be cautious making long-term decisions when the Moon is Void Of Course. The solution you reach for may not be in your best interests in the long run. Besides… you may not like where you’re living, but there’s plenty worse places to be…
