Recently an opera company in Philadelphia brought 600 friends together for a spontaneous, unannounced performance of Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” to a downtown department store.
Then a bunch of college kids in Windsor, Canada, had fun at a shopping mall’s food court.
And it became an international phenomenon. We have had reports of unannounced Hallelujah Chorus performances in Scotland, Ohio, Kansas City, New England and the West Coast.
