For those of you who have viewed by “Dysfunctional Chef” video (Dysfunctional Chef, Janice Taylor), you know just how much I love, love, love fig balsamic vinegar; not just balsamic vinegar – its got to be fig balsamic!

Here is another fabulous, healthy living recipe that will send your taste buds on an existential journey!  Enjoy!!!

Berries in Fig Syrup!!!

Ingredients:
1/3 cup fig balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup raspberries
1/2 cup blackberries

Directions:
In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, brown sugar and vanilla. Set aside.

In another bowl, place all the berries!
Pour the fig balsamic vinegar mixture over the berries.
Marinate for as long as you can stand it; minimum 20 minutes.
Serve in pretty berry dishes!
