This week’s Get Jiggy Weight Loss Jigsaw Puzzle is inspired by the much needed Om after the Storm!

We, here, on my block and in my neck of the woods were lucky.  Hurricane Irene came and went quietly.  No physical hurricane damage to speak of.

Nevertheless, it was nerve-wracking.  My 95 year-young mother lives on Long Island, in Long Beach to be exact.  My husband and I rented a car (we are city-dwellers and don’t have one – imagine that!) and dashed out to gather her and a handful of belongings.

This GET JIGGY PUZZLE, The Om After the Storm is dedicated to those who braved the actual storm and the threat of the storm.  Deep breaths, everyone!
