Yes, YOU CAN!!!

The supreme accomplishment is to blur the line between work and play.

Greetings Tushkateers!

I received a most interesting email from Tushkateer Nancy!

Nancy writes – referencing our 21 Day Miracle Cure: Want Power“Have you ever done this class before?  How do I know that it will work?  I have absolutely NO will power.  Do I pick a diet plan?  Are you really my savior?”

I figure if one person is asking a question, it is likely that a number of people are thinking similar thoughts and have the same question(s) floating in their minds.   So…  Are you wondering if ‘it works?’  Or if I am your savior?  (I wish you could see my face.  I’m like looking behind me, “You talkin’ to ME?  Savior? Huh?”)  Or if YOU ARE YOUR OWN SAVIOR???

I am not a savior.  I am a coach, albeit a pretty good one (even better than that – my grandmother used to say, “don’t break your arm patting yourself on the back” – but I’m going to – I am a great coach)!  I am a graduate of the New York University coaching program. I am also certified in NLP (neurolinguistic programming) and hypnosis.   I am artsy, craftsy, fun and uber-creative.  I can inspire, I can motivate, true enough – but I am not your savior.

You are your own savior.  You are the ONE.  You have it in YOU.  Only you can put the lessons, the suggestions, the work into action.   So, again, I am not the savior; and I cannot guarantee that ‘it’ will work.

“Will this work?”
I guess my answer is, “Will YOU work?”  Yup, that’s my answer.  No one can do the work for you.  “Will YOU work?”  Will you do the work?  Work it baby, work it!

There are a few things I know for sure (like Oprah, she knows stuff ‘for sure’ 🙂.  If you want to change your life, YOU have to change your actions, your thinking, your beliefs – you have to create new habits!  This requires work.  Work!

Is WORK a dirty word?
After all, it is a 4-letter word! According to Webster’s dictionary, Work is an energy expended by natural phenomena. (Sand dunes are the work of sea and wind.) Work is something produced or accomplished by effort, exertion or exercise of skill.

Nothing dirty about it.  Sounds kind of exciting and promising to me.  Sounds like you can count on work. It’s a natural phenomena.   If you expend energy, then you will accomplish something.

Does the mere mention of work deter you from doing the work?  If it does, just change work to play.

Is PLAY a better word?  Is it a better ‘fit?’ According to Webster’s dictionary, Play is an act, way or manner of proceeding; the state of being active, operative or relevant; play is spontaneous activity; there is an absence of serious or harmful intent.

Either way – whether you WORK or you PLAY, you save you!

Be YOUR OWN SAVIOR.

Don’t just improve: EVOLVE!

Here’s what Tushkateer Adriana said about the last CURE:
It’s not quite a pound a day, but the magic from the last weight loss series (a.k.a. Cure) helped me to help the scale to go down. My appetite is tempered, I am more active, and as of today, I weigh less than I have been in many moons. Thanks Janice. This works. Adriana
