Variety is the spice of life and is uber-important in the world of permanent weight removal. Lest we get bored and dive off into the deep end of the chocolate pool, here Our Lady of Weight Loss shares with you an amazingly delish dish that can be served for breakfast, lunch or a snack! Or–a simple easy dinner after a hard day of eating! Try it, you’ll love it!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup quinoa
2/3 cup orange juice
1/4 cup chopped dried figs
pinch ground cinnamon
pinch salt
low fat yogurt to taste
Instructions:
Place quinoa, orange juice, figs, cinnamon and salt in saucepan.
Bring to boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, until the liquid is absorbed.
Remove pan from heat, let stand covered for about 10 minutes.
Stir.
Put in bowl, top with a dollop or two of low fat yogurt! Enjoy!!!
