I just got back from the supermarket.  The check-out counter was overflowing with Easter candy.  It took all the willpower and want power I could muster not to buy one or two or ten Cadbury eggs not to mention the marshmallow peeps, chocolate bunnies and jellybeans, but I made way past it all, fruit in hand.

It occurred to me that using Easter as ‘a special occasion excuse’ to eat  is a sure fired way to stay fat!!!

Just for the thrill of it when I got home, I did a bit of research.
If you are curious to know just how many calories are in your Easter basket, read on!
