I think, or at least, I hope that we can all agree that weight gain and weight loss begins in the mind.  Our actions follow our thoughts, as our character is the sum of our thoughts.

As a plant miraculously springs forth from the seed, every action we take springs from seeds of thought.  We can liken our minds to a garden, which we can actively cultivate with positive, useful thoughts, or we can simply, with no effort at all, let it run wild, all on its own, and allow an abundance of weeds to take over.  An abundance of weeks that eventually will choke out the healthy plants.  It may be easier, but it is racked with pain and defeat.

And so, our weight loss success does start and end with our thoughts, doesn’t it?

Just as your mind had the capacity to add weight to your body, so does it have the equal capacity to reduce your body weight.  It makes sense, doesn’t it?  How could it worth otherwise.

You only need to look and listen, explore new ways to experience your weight, consider fresh ideas, as you begin to see weight loss from a new perspective:

You can lay the groundwork to speeding up your metabolism by exploring the following new concepts and possibilities:

  1. Your mind has the capacity to add weight as well as reduce weight.
  2. When your mind accepts new ideas, it has the capacity to ‘normalize’ your metabolism, which leads to better choices, which, in turn, leads to establishing better habits.
  3. These new habits include eating well, as well as exercising and moving your body with ease and delight.

Just reading the above can begin to shift your mental map.
How much of a shift are you experiencing now?

Spread the word … NOT the icing,

Janice
