If you don’t have loving parents, then you had better learn to be a loving parent to yourself. ~ Anonymous

Life is about love. Plain n’ simple! Love is the foundation of self-esteem. It is love that heals.

Loving yourself doesn’t mean that you have to love every single thought you have or action you take (or don’t take); nor does it mean that you have to be perfect.

It means that you acknowledge that within you–at your core–lives a light. It is a light that translates to peace, wholeness, joy, goodness, innate worth and good feelings.

Our goal is to tap into our inner light, connect it to our present consciousness and feel the light and love, and live in that light and love.

The best way to accomplish this is to speak kindly to our Inner-Child. To communicate with our Inner-Child in a kind, compassionate and loving manner.

The Inner-Child, also known as the “Divine Child” by Carl Jung, the “Wonder Child” by Emmet Fox, and the “Child Within” by Charles Whitfield, is the emotional self. It is where our feelings live.

When we are playful and creative; when we allow our intuitive juices to flow, we know deep within us that our Divine Child is being welcomed and encouraged to be present.

Imagine what that feels like to be welcomed and encouraged to be present. Give yourself the gift of love. Practice positive self-talk.
