“The eyes of all look to You expectantly, and You give them their food when it’s due. You give it openhandedly, feeding every creature to its heart’s content.”
Psalm 145:15-16
This passage from the Psalm of David, is about sustenance and generosity. Food can be a metaphor for all the elements humanity needs to survive, or it can be taken literally. The hand of God is always open for us, providing us with the nourishment of body and soul.
