The father of a righteous man has great joy; he who has a wise son delights in him.
Proverbs 23:24
Parenting can be difficult, frustrating and often disappointing. But this proverb shows us the rewards received, when by chance, the child grows up to be righteous and wise. God gives us the ability to experience joy and delight; take every opportunity to express it. Celebrate the good characteristics of your children. Just as the holy Father delights in us, so shall we delight in the next generation.
