Super Typhoon Megi is buffeting the Philippines today. It’s the strongest storm to hit the region in years. Rains across Vietnam swept away a bus and left 20 people missing, including a girl pulled from her mother’s grasp by the raging waters. Thailand also experienced flooding that has paralyzed the country. The huge storm is next expected to plunge into China, where authorities have already evacuated 140,000 people from a coastal province.

“God, we pray for those in South East Asia facing the ravages of Typhoon Megi. We pray that you will preserve lives through this torrent. Ease the damages of the storm. Give wisdom to officials and those working to prepare residents help in recovery. Use this entire process to bring people to trust you in the midst of the storm! In Jesus.”
