Teach me to do your will,
    for you are my God.
May your gracious Spirit lead me forward
on a firm footing. Psalm 143:10 NLT

Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; let Your good Spirit lead me into a level country and into the land of uprightness. (Amplified)

Father,

Your Leadership is all I want in my life. I have tried and failed to lead myself, and I always wind up in quick sand, on dead ends, and in peril of one kind or another. Yet, time and time again you rescue me. You lift me up out of the dung heap and place my feet on solid ground again. When will I learn? I’ll answer that rhetorical question myself:  Today! Today I give you my life again! Today I give you my complete and utter trust! Today I give you my thanks! Lead on, Oh King Eternal! I’m a little nervous, but I know where you lead will be the best, the most fruitful, satisfying, and productive for Your purposes and Kingdom. And for my part, Your will is the safest place on the planet.

I’m all ears! Talk to me!

Amen!
