“Joy fills hearts that are planning peace!” Proverbs 16:20

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

What are you plans today? If peace is on your list, prepare for a joy-filled day. Peace in Hebrew is shalom, and it’s meaning is deep: completeness, soundness, welfare, peace, prosperity… Good things! God’s plan for our lives is that we would experience peace every day. Let’s pray:

Father,

Thank you that your plans for me are for peace and hope. I want to enter into your plan by strategically doing things and acting in ways that promote peace in all my relationships, peace in my soul, peace at my work, and peace with You. Jesus, You are the Prince of Peace and with the help of Your Spirit, peace will be my aim throughout this day and every day. I will begin with my thoughts. May each thought I have about myself or others promote peace. May each word I speak promote peace. May everything I do today be in line with Your will, dear, precious Prince of Peace.

Amen
