Your road led through… a pathway no one knew was there! (Psalm 77:19)
This Psalm was written by a poet who was experiencing a painful crisis. Nothing seemed to be working in his life and his stress level was at its limit. Sound familiar? We have all been there. The Psalmist found a way out: he intentionally looked at the miracles God has done in the past. This led him to a place of encouragement, knowing that, though his back was to the wall and there was no way out, God would create a way of deliverance for him, a hidden way that no one was aware of but God. So today let’s remember what God has done and apply faith to the circumstances we are in that trap us. He will make a way where there is no way.
Father,
I turn my fear to faith today as I recount the miracles you have done not only for me but down through history. You can create a pathway through the sea and through the wilderness. I trust in your power to deliver me, resting in your grace and strength.
Amen
