“You must always act in the fear of the LORD, with faithfulness and an undivided heart.” 2 Chronicles 19:9

My word for 2016 is “undivided”.  I am asking God to help me become a consistent person – the same person in any and every situation, rain or shine, the same person at home as I am anywhere else. Various traumas and sins of our own devices bring divisions in our souls which make us vulnerable to inconsistencies in our character. God’s purpose is to make us whole people.

Father,

You know best where my brokenness lies and how it got there in the first place. I give you all that I am today, especially the parts of me that are not whole, and I receive the gift of your healing. Your salvation in all-inclusive. Save, me, Lord. Give me wisdom to know what my role is in my healing. I commit myself to daily meditation on Your great love for me. Make me constantly aware of your unfailing love which destroys all the fear bound up in my mind and heart. Thank you for your Word that transforms my soul. Thank you for Jesus.
