Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. (1 Chronicles 16:34)

If we endure hardship,
we will reign with him. (2 Timothy 2:12a)

Endurance is the capacity to hold up under pressure. People work out to build their endurance, as it only comes with resistance. Are you facing resistance in your health, relationships, at work, or at home? Ask the Lord to give you a heart of endurance to withstand the pressures of life. His love endures forever. His love will empower you to endure as well.

Father,

The pressure sometimes is so intense that I want to give up, but you have given me the capacity to endure trials and pressure. If you are calling me to stand strong, then surely you will strengthen me. I’m asking for strength at my very core. Lord, I will drink in your Word which gives me life and I will worship you which gives me strength. I will put on the joy of the Lord and I will – with Your help – endure every challenge that comes my way today.
