“You have stayed at this mountain long enough!

It is time to break camp and move on.” (Deuteronomy 1:6 NLT)

The Israelites had just been delivered from slavery, they had received and agreed to the terms of God’s covenant, and it was time to move on towards the land of Canaan, the land of their promised blessing. Have you been hesitating or procrastinating walking into the promises God has for you? Perhaps you’re afraid of the unknown. Perhaps you’re lacking in the confidence needed to accomplish what God is calling you to do. Remember this: it’s not about you. God will help you and grant you everything you need to accomplish His purposes. Get up and move on! Move on from relationships that have held you back. Move on from condemnation over past mistakes. Move on from discouraging words spoken over your life. Move on from fear. Move on from just being stuck in a rut. Move on, my friend! The promises of God are awaiting you!

Father,

It’s been lovely at the mountain, learning of you, growing in you, hearing your Word and catching a vision for my future, but you are calling me to action. I know what I need to do, yet I hesitate. I lack confidence in myself, which ultimately shows my lack of faith in Your strong arm to help me. Forgive me, Lord. Help me to remember that I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. I will hesitate no more. I will procrastinate no more. I’m breaking camp, letting go of everything that it holding me back, and I am moving on with you!

Amen!
