“Change Your hearts and stop being stubborn.” Deuteronomy 10:16

A stubborn soul refuses to see the need to change. A person who is stubborn can certainly see areas where others need to change but will stop short of seeing the need for adjustment or conversion in him or herself. Today we will put stubbornness away, asking for a change of heart – or better yet, a new heart.

Father,

I’m done with being stubborn and unwilling to see my need for change. Give me a new heart. Put a right spirit within me. Take my heart of stone and give me a heart of flesh. Speak to me today about the state of my heart, and I will listen, repent, and obey…
