O Lord of Heaven’s Armies! Where is there anyone as mighty as you, O Lord? You are entirely faithful. Psalm 89:8

God is a faithful Father who knows how to bless his people who have entered into covenant with Him. The best comparison to covenant is marriage. When we give our lives over to God, we are, in a sense, married to Him for life.

This covenant comes with conditions. Some of those conditions are summed up in Deuteronomy 28:47 – “Serve the Lord your God with joy and enthusiasm for the abundant benefits you have received.” We are required to devote ourselves to God joyfully and willingly and energetically! It’s a great way to live! And in return for our efforts to love him, He proves himself ENTIRELY FAITHFUL to us!

O Lord of Heaven’s Armies,

As I worship you today and show your love to each person that comes into my life, I trust in you to fight my battles. There is no other source of power like you! And you are entirely faithful to me, night and day, day by day, world without end! I choose the joy of the Lord today! And I choose to trust you for the challenges I am currently facing, for you will be entirely faithful to me as I relinquish control and activate my faith in your promises, for you are good!
