Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable. (Hebrews 4:13)

Are you experiencing condemnation or conviction of past sins? Perhaps it’s a good idea to sift through these thoughts with a godly, trusted friend who can objectively help you discern where repentance is needed and where rebuking is needed (rebuking the enemy who comes to accuse us of things in our past we’ve already dealt with before the Lord and others). Then you’ll enjoy the freedom of letting go of secrets that have bound you!

Father,

You know every detail of my life, the seen and the unseen. You know my darkest secrets, deepest sorrows, and dingiest sins. Before you, I am most thoroughly exposed.

Today, I bring before you and my friend everything hidden in my life. This friend and I will sift through these “items” one by one, and I will repent where repentance is lacking, and declare both forgiveness and cleansing. I will then walk about in freedom, living and establishing my life on your Word!

In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame. (Genesis 2:25)
