Father,

I ask that you would teach me humility. Give me grace to not simply swallow my pride when I am made aware of it, but rather to repent and receive your forgiveness. Give me a heart that is willing to be known for who I am, strengths and weaknesses, successes and failures.

And, Lord, please grant us leaders that are humble. Provide leaders who are willing to bow to your wisdom, to repent and change, and to seek wisdom from others who have sought after true humility. I ask this in Jesus’ Name.
