You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal rock. (Isaiah 26: 3,4)

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. (Phil. 4:8)

Father,

Thank You that as I fix my thoughts, You fix all that is broken in me. You give me perfect Shalom – nothing is missing, nothing is broken in my body, soul, or spirit. I trust in You, God. I trust in Your everlasting love for me. I trust in Your power to save me. I trust in Your loving care.

As You fix my mind, I fix my thoughts, by turning from all negativity to things that are true. I turn from fearful scenarios of what the future would look like without Your intervention. I will only think about things that are pleasing and joy-giving and lovely. I choose thoughts that are of excellent quality, thoughts that produce praise.

In short, Jesus, I keep my thoughts on You, my friend who sticks closer than a brother, my healer, my great defender, my Rock, my anchor, my steadfast hope, my joy, my life.

I refuse fear and worry! I take rogue thoughts captive and make them obey You, God. As I dispel every bit of anxiety that seeks to imbed itself in my mind, I will simply tell you what I need moment by moment. I will ask You for peace when I feel the panic rise. I will ask You for confidence when I feel my security slipping. I will say, as David did, “Lord, I am slipping!” And You will help me! For Your Word says in Psalm 121 that You will not allow my foot to slip.

I will thank You continually for who You are to me, for all You have done for me, and for all You will do – even things I’ve yet to see manifest, for that is my sacrifice of praise.

As I thank You, I will experience Your peace that passes anything I can imagine, peace that passes any medication I can ingest; nothing and no one can give me the peace that You give. Your peace will stand as a guard over my mind, filtering out every negative thought, every fear, every lie.

Thank You for the mind of Christ. It is mine in Jesus. He died so that I could partake of His anointed mind. I thank You for the anointed mind of Christ, a steady mind, a fearless mind, a compassionate mind, a stable mind, a peaceful mind, a wise mind, a positive, optimistic, and joyful mind.

Being full of Your Spirit, I cannot live in fear. Your love has driven fear out, so all day today I will confess that You are good and Your love endures. Your love conquers all fear. I receive the benefit of a fearless life: my life is full of Your power, Your love, and a sound mind, a sane and strong mind, a mind that is fixed. Fixed on You moment by moment, step by step, throughout this day and throughout my life.

In Jesus’ Name

Amen!

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:6,7)

…We have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16b)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
