Lord,

Teach me to take control of my undisciplined mind. Help me to expel negative and critical thoughts. I choose today to keep my mind on You, Your great love for me and Your promises to me that will never fail. I choose hope today, knowing that the things that aren’t working in my life will get better as I choose to walk in love, as I align my thoughts with your thoughts, and as I speak words of truth and love. Give me a heart to quickly forgive offenses and not to dwell on them, mulling over them in my mind until I am in a dark place. I choose gratitude today. I will look for blessings under every rock. I will appreciate the beauty around me and express my thanks to people I love, first and foremost You, my God.
