How is everyone? Great to hear.

Now I know you’re going to be upset; I am leaving for the Wat Carolina Buddhist Monastery in about 20 minutes which means no internet and therefore no highly interesting, enlightening, and charming blog posts for about 48 hours.

Remember what we learned about attachments?

I’m kidding. I love you. You flatter/honor me with your company.

The Wat Carolina Buddhist Temple.

Here is where I am staying for the next two days. Gorgeous huh? Well, I won’t actually live in the temple. I will stay in a small hut in the woods near the temple. Roughing it. That’s how Buddhist roll.

While there, I will delve more deeply into the world of Buddhism with this kind fellow:

Abbot Phrakru

I’ve met him before and he invited me to come this May. So here I go. More details when I return on Sunday.

Here is your homework assignment while I’m gone: is there a local Buddhist temple/congregation/center/sitting/meditation group near you? Visit them. What makes Project Conversion great is that I learn about the faiths from people who actually practice them. I recommend that you visit with these folks, ask questions, and have a good time. Buddhist are funny. Trust me.

So I’ll see you folks later. Peace.
