The end of summer came pretty quickly here in Colorado and those first few cold nights in the mountains are back. The kids are back in school, and I’m focused on meeting CHC’s year-end goals and helping us finish this year with more ministry and more support than ever before.
In a few days, I’ll be visiting our ministry in Russia, specifically in Vladimir, Kostroma, and Ivanovo.
Our program partner in Russia, Nadezhda Fund, is having a board meeting and has invited me to participate in the meeting. They are considering some heavy questions, and I would appreciate your prayers for all the board members on September 16.
You can download my itinerary and prayer request list here.
I’ll also spend time in research and interviews for my next book, a thriller-style novel about human trafficking in Russia through the eyes of an orphaned girl. I’ll send over some of the first excerpts once I start the writing process.
Later in October, I’ll be traveling to Ethiopia, and our Outreach Director, Daniel Clark, will lead a vision trip to Uganda. These have been long-planned for trips, and we’re excited about the donors who have made this trip possible for CHC.
Whenever we expand, it’s because of generous supporters with a heart for orphans who fund the initial trips.
We’re praying for safety and increase, and would ask for you to partner with us in prayer as well.
Thanks again for your love and support of orphaned children in Russia, Swaziland, and the ends of the earth.
