This year, Americans are projected to spend over $447 billion on Christmas presents. Instead, what if some of us decided that we’d ask our friends and family to pool their resources to help orphans?

1. Be your first donor. Support yourself with a gift of $5.00 or more.
2. Install the Change Their Story Facebook App. Donate your profile pic, create personalized news stories, and promote Change Their Story on Facebook.
3. Upload your contacts to the Participant Center and send your support letters. We’ve created customized templates to help you spread the word and raise funds.
Change Their Story is about making specific interventions in the lives of kids who are trapped by poverty and abuse.
Your efforts ensure that children are safe, healthy, and protected. Beyond that, HopeChest provides Christian discipleship in each of our programs to ensure that every child knows there is a God who loves them and desires to Change Their Story forever! Since 1994, HopeChest has focused on the spiritual needs of orphans by meeting urgent earthly needs, and providing long-term relationship-driven strategies that allow orphans to know God personally.
All you have to do to Change Their Story is share a little piece of your Christmas with one of these children.
This Christmas, ask your friends and family to spend a few of their Christmas dollars on behalf the poor. Be the one that shows them that Christmas is more than a gift wrapped box. It’s about God sending His son Jesus into the world to change our stories!
