Wayne Rooney has the goal of the year vs. Manchester City. An acrobatic effort from the middle of the City area saw the 5’9″ Rooney elevate and bring his right foot up for a Nani cross, putting his shot into the upper right hand corner of goal. Goalkeeper Joe Hart had not chance to prevent Manchester United‘s go-ahead goal, the Red Devils up 2-1 after 78 minutes.
My kids are wild soccer fans and they are going crazy over this goal!
