We need to bring an English Bible to my Hermeneutics class and since I am no longer able to read my pocket Bible (6.2 font size is a little too small for my ancient eyes), I decided to try the Thinline ESV (pictured above). The picture really doesn’t do it justice since it is a much darker color. I love it! It is the softest Bible I have ever used. The margins aren’t very wide but the font is readable. The only real problem with it is that there are no reference notes but since it is meant to be thin that is not surprising. You can purchase it for 40% off at Westminster’s bookstore.
