OK, I’m going to take the plunge and start the discussion off by asking if anyone would like to take a stab at answering this question: what is the significance of Samson’s mother’s barrenness?
Updated to add: OK, we got a good answer but I was looking for something a little more specific. Here is a question that should hone in on the answer I’m looking for: what is the significance of the barrenness based on the commandments of God to the people of Israel before they entered the promised land?
