A chain of department stores in Germany has come under fire recently because they carried a line of wooden Santa statues. It seems that many of the shoppers at the Rossmann chain felt that the way their rigid little arms seemed to point upward was a tad too Hitleresque for their comfort. The owners of the chain removed the statues and destroyed them. But not before this picture was taken:
