I have a confession to make.
I am a loyal New York Jets fan!
That’s right, I love football! Especially J-E-T football.
It was a great Christmas present when the Jets beat the Dolphins on Christmas night and now my boys are headed up to New England to face the Patriots this Sunday. We beat them in November and I think the Jets are playing better football right now, heading into the play-offs.
They are so going to win!
Yeah, Brady might be prepared for the blitz, but who knows what Schottenheimer, the Jets offensive coordinator has up his sleeve. Not to mention Eric Mangini, or “Man-genius” as some in N.Y. call him. He is also the youngest headcoach in NFL history proving that age is no match for ability.
And how about that Chad Penningtion?
He was just named the AP Comeback player of the year. He has had two rotator cuff surgeries, a broken wrist and even took a pay cut this year. Many within the media and in his own locker room doubted he could come back after these injuries.
“Understanding the journey that I’ve been through thus far makes it special, knowing that hard work does pay and that having the right attitude and believing in working hard, it actually matters,” said Pennington.
Imagine that, believing that hard work matters. What’s not to like about him?
