Here is an interesting story about the feud between New Testament scholar, James M. Robinson and his former protégé, Marvin Meyer over Meyer’s involvement with the National Geographic’s translation, publican and documentary of the “Gospel of Judas.” Robinson objected to the secrecy of the project and thought Meyer had sold out his ethics for money. There’s a definite Judas-slant to the reporting.
