When I hear stories like this it makes me want to send my daughter to a college close by so she can commute.

University of Arizona police responded to a report of a stabbing on campus early Wednesday morning. According to a spokesperson for the University of Arizona, the attack occurred at the Graham Greenlee residence hall, near 6th Street and Highland.
University Of Arizona police responded to the 911 call at 5:45 a.m. Eighteen-year-old Mia Henderson, a student at the University of Arizona, is dead after Henderson and her roommate Galareka Harrison had an alleged altercation, report police. Harrison was also injured, but released from the hospital, authorities report.
Police have arrested Galareka Harrison,18, the roommate of the victim. Harrison has been transported to Pima County Jail and charged with one count of 1st degree murder.
According to UA Police Chief Anthony Daykin in his news conference Wednesday, the victim, Mia Henderson, filed a theft report against her roommate just prior to the attack.

This is the second death on the University of Arizona campus in less than two weeks. The school brought in grief counselors ten days ago when a freshman girl killed herself in the Coronado dorm.
