Sean Penn endorsed Dennis Kucinich but gave more money to Edwards?
Penn has donated $4,600 to John Edwards’ campaign and $2,300 to Kucinich during this cycle, per FEC campaign finance data, NBC’s Domenico Montanaro said.

I bet he gave the maximum to Kucinich in the primary but didn’t give him any for the general knowing that he wouldn’t get the nomination which would undermine his message of voting for someone even if you didn’t think they could be elected. Or maybe he had second thoughts about Edwards.
But does it really matter that he made an endorsement? Who really cares who Barbara Streisand, Oprah 50 cent or Chuck Norris support? Why should I trust that they have any understanding of foreign or fiscal policy? Why should I trust that they understand who would make a better president? If and when they do demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of the problems facing the nation, then I might listen to their recommendation.
And saying something so out there like this does not help:
“While I’m not a proponent of the Death Penalty, existing law provides that the likes of Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld and Rice, if found guilty, could have hoods thrown over their heads, their hands bound, facing a 12-man rifle corps executing death by firing squad,” Penn said.
Man! This guy could be the poster child for BDS!
And this is just out there:
“I found the (recent Democratic) debate infuriating, nearly an argument for fascism with few exceptions, key among them Dennis Kucinich,” Penn said.
