*Sigh* I’m so happy this guy isn’t my pastor because I really wouldn’t feel wanted in his church and I wouldn’t want my girls to think that the church didn’t appreciate them being part of it. Putting an emphasis on one gender over another puts me in mind of these passages:

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.James 2:3 and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “You sit here in a good place,” while you say to the poor man, “You stand over there,” or, “Sit down at my feet,” 4 have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?

Thankfully God doesn’t value innovative businessmen over teenage girls or stay-at-home moms, it’s what makes me appreciate being a part of Christ’s church. (via)
