And apparently Obama is the one who is lying. Obama says that he supported the federal bill that provided assistance to babies who survived an abortion:

…I hate to say that people are lying, but here’s a situation where folks are lying. I have said repeatedly that I would have been completely in, fully in support of the federal bill that everybody supported — which was to say — that you should provide assistance to any infant that was born – even if it was as a consequence of an induced abortion. That was not the bill that was presented at the state level. What that bill also was doing was trying to undermine Roe vs. Wade.

But David Freddoso demonstrates that the record doesn’t support Obama’s claim.
I’m not surprised that he is trying to distance himself from his previous position. Most Americans understand that withholding assistance to a baby after it’s born is infanticide. It makes sense for him to try to muddy the waters by spinning his killing of the state version of the federal bill into support of it. Unfortunately for him there is a paper trail that clearly demonstrates who is telling the truth.
