I know there many on the left and on the right who think Palin has become a huge drag on the ticket but those of us who understand the excitement she’s generated among Republicans know that she’s given McCain a boast and a better shot at winning. Because she’s on the ticket we are more engaged in this election than we would have been. I’m glad McCain sees that and is unequivocal in his support of her. I have more respect for him now because of it.
