And I couldn’t even blog about it! I’ve been dying to post this video but the system was acting up after Beliefnet’s redesign so we couldn’t post. But now that everyone has probably seen it, I can post it. I don’t care, here it is:
It’s amazing to me that we are about to elect a socialist into the highest office in the land. He’s going to raise our taxes and redistribute our money to others who didn’t do a thing to earn it. He isn’t hiding that fact at all, he openly tells a plumber that he’s going to take his money and give it to someone who isn’t as fortunate as he is. He’s standing in the way of others who can’t get ahead, it’s his fault? What? There’s a finite amount of opportunities? His success means someone else can’t make it? He’s taken too big a piece of pie and that doesn’t leave enough for others? That’s just nuts. The pie is limitless and is bounded by our lack of imagination or determination to get ahead. We don’t need the government to steal our money and give it to someone else. That’s not going to help in the long run, it just makes more people dependent on the little bit the government is willing to dole out. True freedom means learning to depend on yourself.
