The Tax Foundation sponsored a contest to raise awareness of the high tax rates for businesses in the USA. All of the top three winners were pretty good though I thought the first place winner was excellent.The first place video explains why we have to cut corporate taxes to remain competitive with the rest of the world (we have the second highest corporate tax rate in the world). It’s too bad that Americans voters don’t understand this (or at least that’s how it appears), especially the union guys who think electing Obama is going to get them more jobs when his policies will raise the cost of labor and taxes on corporations and small business, tempting them to find relief in a country like Scotland that only has a 12.5% corporate tax.The second place video is from the employee/consumer point of view:And the third place video should help those who wonder why they haven’t been getting much of a raise and probably won’t be getting any under Obama after he raises the corporate tax (as the corporate tax goes up, wages fall correspondingly):
